Playing with Pojagi Saturday Workshop

Explore the Pojagi piecing technique using cotton organdie and machine stitching. Choice of three designs and many colourways. Materials supplied for £15.

Lovely Lutradur

Working with this versatile spunbond we will add layers of colour and shine before stitching and burning to create a small vessel. Materials provided for £15.

Working with Solubles

Using soluble film we will look at different ways of creating stitched and wired slips to build up into a small panel. This is a good way to explore machine embroidery. Sewing machine required.

Pattern of Life

Using dress pattern tissue and the paper lamination technique to create stitchable paper fabric. We will then use the Pojagi piecing technique to make up into a small panel. Sewing machine required.

Life's a Bleach!

Surface design using decolourant and household bleach* to remove colour from cloth. Lots of different patterning methods. The outcome will be two pieces of cloth ready to stitch. Materials supplied for £15. *Please note this can be very smelly and messy and masks will be worn.
